I am a fully qualified counsellor holding an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I practise in accordance with their ethical framework.

I have had additional specialist training in bereavement and have counselled at both the Hospice in the Weald and the Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre. I have also counselled at a local grammar school and, in addition to private practice, I currently counsel patients at a GPs’ surgery.

​Before training to be a counsellor, I worked as a solicitor for 20 years, helping individuals with their housing problems.
